How we work

Referral disclosure · Last updated: 16 October 2026

Vic Energy Deals is an independent third-party referral service. We are not an installer, retailer or government program. We work with approved sellers and bring you the best deals after reviewing hundreds of active offers from top-rated installers in Victoria.

What we do

Battery, solar and aircon offers change every week, and comparing them takes time. We do that work for you. We collect and review active offers from installers across Victoria, then shortlist the ones that give the best value for a standard installation after the federal rebate.

How we choose the deals we show

We only list deals from installers we have a referral arrangement with, so our shortlist doesn't cover every offer in the market.

How we're paid

Partner installers may pay us a fee when we refer an enquiry or when a referral goes ahead. This is how we keep the service free for you. Prices on our site are the installer's prices. A partner paying us doesn't change our partner standards.

What happens when you enquire

  1. You choose a deal and send us your details.
  2. We pass your enquiry to the partner installer offering that deal, or to up to three partners if you ask us to compare.
  3. The installer contacts you, checks your home and gives you a written quote.
  4. If you go ahead, your contract, installation and warranty are with the installer.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings we mention, such as a 4.9-star rating, belong to the named partner installer and come from their public reviews. We don't write, buy or edit reviews.

Not affiliated with government

We're not part of, or endorsed by, the Australian Government, the Victorian Government or Solar Victoria. Rebate information on our site is general. Your installer confirms what you're eligible for.
